Course Foundations
Core Objectives
To introduce young minds to the foundational principles of computer science in a stress-free environment. We aim to build strong algorithmic thinking, enhance problem-solving capabilities, and foster a deep appreciation for digital creation through interactive and highly engaging visual modules.
Expected Outcomes
Upon completion, students will independently design, code, and debug their own interactive stories and games. They will possess a solid grasp of sequential logic, conditional statements, and loop structures, preparing them seamlessly for advanced text-based languages like Python.
Distinctive Features
Our program offers completely live, interactive online sessions led by expert educators, with instruction available in both English and Marathi to ensure deep conceptual comprehension. Learning is strictly project-based, ensuring that theoretical concepts are immediately applied to build tangible, functional digital creations that students can share with family and friends.
Experience Our Teaching
Sample Lesson: Flying Bird Animation in Scratch
Watch an authentic training session developed by MITU Skillologies. In this lesson, students learn how to control a sprite, manage the X and Y coordinate systems, and utilize loop structures to create a smooth, continuous flying animation on the screen.
Module-Wise Syllabus
Introduction to the Digital Canvas
Familiarization with the Scratch interface. Students learn to navigate the workspace, understand the coordinate system, and write their very first sequence of instructions to animate sprites on the screen.
Events, Triggers, and Interactivity
Understanding how software responds to the user. This module covers keyboard and mouse events, broadcasting messages between different elements, and making characters react to specific user inputs.
The Power of Control Flow
Mastering the fundamental logic of all programming languages. Students dive into loop structures for repetitive tasks and utilize conditional statements (if-then-else) to give their programs decision-making abilities.
Variables and Data Tracking
An introduction to data storage. We explore how to create variables to keep score in games, store user names, and manage timers, bringing a new level of complexity and state-management to their projects.
Capstone Project & Game Design
The culmination of the 16-hour journey. Students independently architect and program a complete, interactive arcade game from scratch, encompassing design, coding, testing, and ultimate deployment.
